Soon after L. Ron Hubbard released his lectures on Study Technology in the 1960s, it was in use in all Scientology churches and missions. School teachers who studied it began using it in their classes and reported great improvement in learning ability among their students. In 1971, the first educational organisation specialising in the use of Study Technology was formed by a Scientologist teacher.
